Lara Habib

Lara Habib began her career as a research analyst at BLOM Bank before joining CNBC Arabiya as a presenter. In 2006, she moved to Al Arabiya, hosting Aswaq al-Kuwait and later anchoring Aswaq al-Arabiya, the channel’s flagship business show.

She has covered major global events such as the World Economic Forum in Davos, IMF–World Bank meetings, and G20 summits, and moderated panels on growth, energy, innovation, and technology.

Lara has interviewed leading figures including Christine Lagarde, Kristalina Georgieva, John Chambers, and Mohammed Al-Abbar. Of Lebanese origin, she holds an MBA from the Lebanese American University and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
